______Part 1



I woke up, a bit drowsy but i could tell someone was beckoning for me to wake.
I opened my eyes and my annoying sister was looking at me. "Hey Joe, its time for
your first day of sixth grade." My sister, Sasha said. Cant it wait until im not tired? I
replied. "Oh im sorry, I guess i'll just tell mom that you committed suicide." she said.
I sighed, hoping she could tell i was annoyed, then sat up. She then left the room, going to
get herself breakfast. I changed clothes. then went to get myself breakfast, then brushed my,
teeth, hoping that the day would be over fast enough. My name was Joseph...

When I arrived at school I was braced for bullies to single me out, and be assaulted by
insults, and names. Bullies never had a reason to pick on me, I never wore glasses, I wasn't
a nerd, I certainly was fat...I was pretty thin...i guess they just always picked me because
I really never wanted to talk to anybody. I only had one real friend. He was popular at his
school. I used to have another but he moved away.

When school was over, I had recieved a fair amount of insults, and made a good few enemies.
I decided tell my mom I wanted to take a walk in the woods on the outskirts, she
was fine with it

I walked down the sidewalk leading to the woods, i just wanted some time to think. I really
did consider suicide. But I didn't to, knowing that I could possible end up being a ghost
if I did...having to walk the Earth for all eternity, and watch my parents cry over my death.

When I reached the woods. I didn't do anything else but wander around. I never noticed I
had gone off the path. Because I was thinking about my and my family's current condition.
We had a small house, we used to have another. But it had burnt down in a fire.
And we couldn't afford a new house besides the one we were currently living in. Which like I
said before, wasn't very spacious.

After about 4 hours of walking, I decided I was dangerously lost, and the sun was starting
to set. I was very nervous that I might not find my way out, it was also starting to get
cold. But I continued on, hoping to find my way back to civilization. Or any kind of shelter.
I had a small flashlight though, and after another hour of walking, found a cave.
It was a large one too. I didn't consider that it might have been a house for a bear.
But I continued on, and was in the cave. It was a bit warmer in there.

I sat down on the floor of the cave, exhausted. The flashlight was going to burn out in an
hour or so. I was about to turn it off. When something caught my eye. I noticed a small hole
at the foot of the side of the cave. I could probably crawl through. I walked over there
cautiously. Then I poked the light of the flashlight in there, and noticed the light
bounce off something. Then Saw it. It looked like a gem, a clear white gem. Is that-?
I silently thought to myself.  I sticked my arm through the hole. and grabbed the gem.
I took it out of the hole and peered at it...greed was crossing through my thoughts...
